Jaime Ramona is the solo project of extraordinary vocalist, multi instrumentalist, songwriter, producer James Mc Lean.

His devotion to the art form of song is palpable throughout his chameleonic catalog, pulling from roots Argentine folklore of his childhood all the way to The Rolling Stones (his favorite band of all time), right through Thom Yorke’s experimental soundscapes. His fearlessness can be heard from one song to the next as he spontaneously tries new sounds, instruments and textures, with beautifully nostalgic storylines at the core of everyone.

His Sergei Grosny produced album ‘Dosis Para Dormir Osos’ broke through uncharted musical territory as they combined Jaime’s eloquent vocals with nylon guitars and electronic minimalism. A true jewel of a record.

In 2024, he released 'Rockanroll Gaucho', an album full of countryside stories that brings Argentine folk music closer to the rock and roll of Tom Petty and Bob Dylan. Jaime continues write new songs and explore the common ground between the gaucho and the cowboy, Argentine folklore and rock. His latest release, the single Según Shadow, came out on May 1, 2025.
