TATAMAMA

Tatamama is a hard rock band formed in Buenos Aires in 2004. They began as a trio made up of Fernando Frávega (guitar and vocals), Fernando Scaglia (bass and vocals) and Santiago Guyot (drums), and from the start they built an independent, self-managed project. In early 2005 they released their first album, Tatamama, and soon after took the stage at venues around the country, including a summer tour along the Atlantic Coast and a performance at Gesell Rock. That same year they shot their first official music video, "Irme de aquí" ("Leaving This Place").

In 2007, Santiago Guyot left the band. Fernando Scaglia took over drums and bass, while Fernando Frávega recorded the guitars. With a stripped-down lineup and a more acoustic approach, they recorded Belle Époque, released in 2008.

In 2012, Santiago returned to the band and Félix Fravega, Fernando's brother, joined on guitars. Tatamama became a quartet again and found a rawer, rockier sound, captured on Maniquíes, released in 2014.

Today, more than a decade after that last release, all three Tatamama albums are being released on digital platforms for the first time.
